I had THE most incredible time riding as a passenger in the Agassiz Speedway Hornet car.
I have always enjoyed watching the races at Agassiz Speedway but July 7, 2007 is a day I will never forget. I got to experience what it's like from INSIDE a race car! It was so much fun! There is absolutely nothing like it. What an adrenaline rush! The PNE will never hold a candle to THIS ride and I encourage anyone who's into racing to give this a try. It is completely worth it! I LOVED it and I'll definitely do it again. Many thanks to Agassiz Speedway for putting this together (and to Mark McFadyen for driving).

HOW IT WORKS:

The cost is $50 and $20 Pit fee--Total Cost is $70. This includes rental and the cost of a day membership at Agassiz Speedway.You will participate in a Heat race event (10-12 laps) and a “C” Main event (20 laps). You are responsible for arranging for the driver of your choice. Any registered Agassiz Speedway driver, regardless of class they race in, is acceptable. If you don't know any of the drivers we can provide a driver for you. Please keep in mind that it may take one or two race days to arrange your ride along depending on driver availability. One race days' notice is always required so that we can make sure the necessary people and equipment are in place.This program is only in effect on days that the Hornet class is regularly scheduled to race (EXCLUDING the Enduro and Championship day events). You are Not responsible for getting the rental car to or from the race track. Safety equipment will be supplied by the track (if you have your own fire-suit, etc. you may use it provided it meets the track safety rules).
