2006 is
Ross's 3rd year in the Mini Stock class. This year Ross is driving a 1986
Honda Prelude equipped with a 2.0 liter (1955 cc) engine. The new car has
improved his competitiveness and has allowed him to finish strong in the
early going of 2006. Ross is determined to bring his racing program to the
next level. With more seat time and better equipment Ross has some
realistic expectations; to finish at the front or in the lead pack each
race. Starting slowly in 2004 with a non-competitive car has developed his
survival skills. His capability to stay out of trouble, drive a smart race
and finish each race has earned Ross respect from his fellow drivers and
caused concern at the same time. He is now driving to win. There's always
room for one more. The Mini Stock class and Agassiz Speedway will benefit
from the presence of another competitive car, dedicated driver and home
track supporter.
Ross enjoys the support of family and friends. This support has been a
vital component in the development of his racing program and has helped
produce a new talent in the Mini Stock class. Look for Ross Francis in
victory lane very soon.
