If you purchase your 2012 Car and Driver membership by March 31/2012 you will receive 5 day passes for the spectator stands for full memberships and 3 day passes for associate memberships. Membership forms can be printed off the website from the Rules page and either mailed to PO Box 9 Agassiz, BC V0M1A0 or brought to a meeting.


THE 2012 RACE SCHEDULE IS NOW POSTED. THERE MAY BE SOME ADDITIONS FOR VISITING CLASSES ADDED WHEN CONFIRMED.
THE NEXT GENERAL MEETING WILL BE HELD ON FEB. 7, 2012AT 7:30 PM AT THE AGRICULTURE HALL IN AGASSIZ.


We are compiling a track history of Agassiz Speedway, formerly Kent Raceways, and we are looking for any pictures, video, old programs, newspaper articles, souvenirs, stories or whatever you have relating to the race track. WHO WE ARE

Kent Raceways Society is a non-profit society dedicated to supporting and furthering the sport of stock car racing. The society operates Agassiz Speedway in Agassiz, B.C. It is a 1/4 mile paved oval facility. We rely on volunteers to keep the raceway operating and are proud to be entering our 39th year of race competition. We are pleased to be able to support numerous youth and adult groups in and around our community.

RACING CLASSES

Sportsman: These race cars are completely fabricated from the ground up. Powered by V8 engines and use fiberglas/plastic bodies.

Street Stock: This class uses V8 powered, original steel bodied, mid-size cars from the 70's/80's. Minimal modifications are allowed.

Mini Stock
: A 4-cylinder powered class using modified, import style, cars and trucks.

Hornet
: A basic entry level class using import style cars, maximum 4-cylinder, with no modifications except for safety.

Agassiz Focus Midget: Ultra light weight open wheel tube chassis cars powered by Methanol fueled  Ford Zetec 2.0 litre engines.

Hit to Pass: This is an entry level class using Mid-size / Metric 6/8 cyl vehicles. Its total contact racing all for the crowds entertainment!
